Microsoft Enrollment for Education Solutions (EES)
The Microsoft Enrollment for Education Solutions (EES) allows use of the most popular Microsoft products on all computers owned by NMSU participating departments. Work at Home rights are granted for some software products available through the agreement.
The Microsoft EES is now apart of the NMSU Enterprise Software Bundle (ESB).
There are three types of software available for the EES program:
- Departmental Office Computer Install: Install Media Sets are available for faculty/staff to check-out (borrow) for a period of 5 working days. This media can only be used for installations on NMSU-owned computers belonging to participating departments. It is illegal to duplicate this media. You can fill out the check out form here.
- Windows Work At Home Media: Windows Operating Systems are available as Work At Home Media is available to faculty, staff, and graduate assistants employed by participating departments to purchase for installation on their home computers for work-at-home purposes ONLY and is NOT for personal use.
- Office Home Use Program: Under the Home Use Program, NMSU employees who are users of qualifying applications at work (e.g. Office Enterprise) may acquire a licensed copy of the corresponding Home Use Program software (e.g. Office Enterprise) to install and use on a home computer. You may continue using HUP software while you are under our employment. For more information please email email@example.com
- FREE Office 365 Pro Plus for NMSU students.
All NMSU departments are sign-up for one of the Desktop Bundles which includes all upgrade licenses for Windows operating systems, all Office suites, and the CORE client access licenses (CALS). Other products are available as needed.
Software licenses for this program are leased on an annual basis. If your departmental license is not renewed, all EES software must be removed from your departmental computers and employee home computers.
If a participating department employee terminates employment with the participating department, they must remove any EES software installed on their home computers, this includes Work at Home and Home Use Program software.
