SPSS is a full-featured product line for all stages of the analytical process including planning, data collection, data access and management, analysis, and deployment.

The SPSS product line available with the NMSU site license includes:

  • SPSS Base
  • Tables
  • Regression Models
  • Advanced Models
  • Trends
  • Conjoint
  • Categories
  • Amos(separate license must be purchased)

The SPSS site license allows NMSU employees to install SPSS software on licensed NMSU owned computers. Only NMSU faculty and staff.

**SPSS software may be used for teaching or academic research purposes only. Use of the SPSS software for profit, private gain, or other commercial use is illegal.**

 

HOW CAN I GET A LICENSE AND SOFTWARE MEDIA?

SPSS licenses and media are available from the Information & Communication Technologies Department located at Hardman and Jacobs ULC, Room 105. Licenses may be purchased by NMSU faculty/staff with an NMSU departmental index number.

You can also purchase a license and download SAS when you register on nmsu.onthehub.com

WHEN REGISTERING:

Enter your official NMSU email address in this format: username@nmsu.edu
DO NOT enter a subdomain such as ad, cs, dacc, psl, etc. — which looks like this: username@dacc.nmsu.edu

Once registered you will receive an email so you can complete your registration. Once you have completed your registration you can purchase and download an installation on the web-store using a department index Number.

**Please keep record of the password your create for your account. The password you create on the web store is independent from your NMSU account password.**

 

HOW DO I GET UPDATE CODES?

SPSS software requires that you install update codes annually. An annual maintenance fee must be paid prior to requesting update codes. Unless you cancel your license prior to Sept. 1st, your NMSU departmental account number will be billed for annual maintenance fees each Sept. Update codes are available after July 1st each year.
